Tennessee baseball catcher Evan Russell is now the program’s all-time chief in game titles played, with his 230th visual appearance coming in the Knoxville Regional final in opposition to Georgia Tech on Sunday.
He passed the mark established by previous teammate Pete Derkay, who served in a utility function for coach Tony Vitello from 2017-21.
